The sports world is buzzing with the announcement of the Women’s Professional Baseball League (WPBL), set to launch in the USA in 2026. Co-founded by trailblazing coach Justine Siegal, the league will start with six teams based in the northeastern United States. This marks a historic step forward for women in baseball, offering a long-awaited platform for female athletes to showcase their talent at the professional level. Siegal is a pioneer in breaking barriers for women in the sport. The WPBL promises to inspire a new generation of athletes and fans, fostering growth and equity in the sport.
